Had quite a scare today. My dad had a cat scan a few days and it showed he had an enlarged heart. Today, Connie and Mom took him to a specialist who had him go to ER because he was very worried that dad had a lot of fluid around his heart. Anyway, they decided dad had to have emergency heart surgery. They opened him up and took out a quart of fluid, put in a drain and took him to ICU. Dad looked great following the surgery. He didn't seem to have any pain. The weirdest thing was that dad ate a big chicken dinner. He hasn't done that in months. He lives on Boost and Ensure drinks. Sure hoping he will eat like that when he comes home. They've also found 27 ulcers in his stomach. That's why he hasn't been able to keep any food down for so long. We'd appreciate your prayers for him.

I was so sorry to hear about Mel`s passing away, and the suffering he went through before that,but PTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!he is not suffering any longer, I know how very much you will all miss him,we loved him so very much as we did your whole family, it has been a long time since we first met, June 6th, 1964, and Bob you were just Bobby and Beckey, I think Becxkey was about 13, since Debby turned 13 on the 19th of June ,I have so mny fond memories of the mny times we spent together,and I can`t help but see Mel and Frank and Henry and Bro. Prinzing, and John and Gretchen and yes I hope even my Bill will be there as well, they are all rejoicing together at being in the presence of aso mny other loved ones and all that have gone before, I sometimes wish I were there as well, but God isn`t finished with me yet.

Please forgive my many mistakes, I have carpal tunnel and can`t control the touch of my fingers any more, sometimes I hit more than one key and miss others, will be havcing surgery on bo5th hands in the near future.
